I Am Female, I Don’t Want To Get A Big Back Or Bulk Up. I Want Loose Fat On My Side Of My Waist And Get Abs?

I am 25 years old, I will start exercising next week do some exercise on the treadmill and probably buy this machine Gold’s Gym Power Series GT 2000. I don’t want to get buff I am afraid to get big, and get a big back by using this machine GT 2000. I really want to loose weight especially the sides of my waist and get some abs. I need expert advise or anybody who has used this machine, preferably a female, but would also like to hear from males too. To see if there were some consequences in the long run or great gains that were earned. Expert Advice, please!!! I have heard many myths about women getting buff if they do some weight training or being false, which side is true? I really want to get GT 2000 too, Thanks!!!

It is genetically impossible for a woman to get “buff”. Males only grow so much muscle because of the testosterone production. Women don’t have that much testosterone so it’s near impossible for a woman to become buff. A lot of the myths that surround this is attributed to women who get the V-backs from swimming and gymnastics. People misconstrued this with “gaining mass” and that’s how the myth started. Plus, if you see a woman who is that buff, she’s probably taking testosterone. If you want to lose the fat and get smaller, do cardio. Muscle also helps in that it helps speed up your metabolism because it takes much more energy to maintain muscle than fat. Weight training is also great for women because it’ll slow down osteoperosis and it increases motor function!
