For Woman Running Makes Your Legs Bigger?
Hi! I REALLY want to know the truth here.
So I heard that if you run, jog your legs will actually get bigger and really muscular and bulky and everything. My friend (girl) told me that when she started to do track her legs got really big and I mean like some kind of steriod legs big… So I’m over weight, female and I’m planning on doing some exercise (ha! duh~) with controling what I eat… But I really want to have skinny legs. Is running the right choice for me to get pretty model legs and what I heard is just bull? Or should I just starve. After what my friend told me I’m starting to believe that running is not good to have pretty legs. Did she do something wrong and that’s why her legs became big? Help I know I sound really stupid but I really want to know if running will work for me to get pretty legs.

I heard on tv that hard, fast running builds muscle quicker in your legs.
Slow jogging/walking is a great way to lose weight in your legs.
But remember, walking, running, or jogging will help you lose weight over your entire body. So you can run and jog at first, and once you start losing weight, you can walk and slowly jog to keep the weight off without gaining too much muscle in your legs.
And don’t forget that doing track includes a lot more activities than just running. They do specific training to make their legs stronger, hence more muscle-y.
Lots of models run and jog to keep their shape and their legs skinny. Almost all of them have some sort of muscle definition in their legs, so some muscle is good.

I used to run track. Your legs don’t get bigger if you run long distance rather than sprints. Don’t run uphill because then you are gonna bulk up more. Do slow,steady long distance running. Your legs might bulk up at first, but then they get slimmer with rest days, which is why rest days are important. Also you need to change your eating habits when running because otherwise you will bulk up.
ok im a female and i run track and cross country. my legs got alittle bigger which isn’t noticeable because ive gained muscle but they didnt get bulky. the only way they are going to get bulky is if u lift weights with your legs.
