Skinny teenage girls also run into the fact that their lack of exercise PLUS bad diet (lack of proper nutrients) will result in muscle loss as they age through the years. Less muscle equals slower metabolism Slower metabolism equals easier fat gains. So they end up overweight with no knowledge of how to exercise (because they never had to growing up) and of course, no knowledge of proper nutrient intake.
