Why Aren’t Black Women Concerned About Their Health?

All they care about is having a big booty and being “thick”.I’m a black man I love their curves but I love healthy toned health conscious women that are going to produce healthy children. I don’t want women that sit around eating junk and fast food all day. Eat an apple, salad perhaps drink some water, EXERCISE etc…

Don’t judge us all based on your mother.

Working out actually feels good. You kinda get a high after a good run on the tread mill. I think I’m fairly healthy. I have normal BMI, I’m not overweight, I love apples and greens. Since I’ve gotten married I’ve gained a few curves but nothing extreme. Yeah, I think it’s good that black women take care of themselves. Good health is valuable!

Hmmm, this question kinda contradicts the other one you recently asked…
But moving on. You are actually on to something with this question. Having a big booty and being thick does not equate with being fat. It’s especially sad to see women (of ALL races) 1/2 my age carrying around an extra 50-60+ lbs. and I see it all too often.

Women of all races come in diffrent shapes and sizes. There are plenty black women who are health concious. It’s up to you to find one. I wish people would stop stereotyping. We all are diffrent. So when you ask a question please do not lump everyone togeather. Maybe you are looking in the wrong places for the type of woman you want.

dude NOT ALL black women are like that…I really don’t like fast food, i don’t drink soda and i workout at least 5 times a week….so don’t try to put YOUR women out there like we’re slobs or something…maybe its just the trashy women u hang around. I hate when black men try to down talk black women for our natural built. Its bad enough that “american society” does it…u don’t see white men down talking white women.

Don’t black men like big booty?

  7. Gloryus on December 25th, 2009 at 6:43 am

Why do you stereotype? You must be a really STUPID son of a ……
Black women can date whoever they want, as long as they both like eachother, and it DOESNT HAVE TO BE YOU.

    One question: Who is “they”?
    I exercise
    I don’t eat fast food
    I take care of myself
    Yet you still judge me…

How many times are you going to post this?
Create a website with an exercise and food diet if you care so much. Create your darn business, become a trainer and hush! Coming online ranting once a month about Black women’s curvy bodies does NOT solve anything.
Just because you see a big woman does not mean she is not healthy.

Hmmm well yr full of it becuase im five eight one thirty and a size three. I am not thick but have an athletic body. About the thicker girls tho, y are u so bent over it? R u mad that the thick women are turnin yr lil lame dunky game down? That they dont want you? Obviously u cant hold onto to a sexy woman if u tried. Their body type hs nothing to do with the children that they will produce. Yr beyond an idiot.

Shut up, I’m Black I’m thick and I’m fine! 38-24-40!!! I don’t eat junk food and rarely go out to eat anymore. I cook homemade caribbean/southern food but I mad some changes to my reicpes. I don’t eat pork, I use vegetable oil, I add little or no salt, I’m bake my food more often than I fry. I only drink water! I eat only small portions. On top of that, I do and hour of cardio each day by dancing. I don’t need to be toned to be healthy.

  16. gogi berries on December 26th, 2009 at 12:40 pm

And all black women are the ones that do that right?
NO, YOU ARE THE ONE WHO SHOULDN’T HAVE KIDS.
You’re either not black, or you’re black and have a flat butt

  17. Girlonth on December 26th, 2009 at 6:32 pm

Um…wake up honey. That isn’t a “Black Woman” thing. Thats an “American” thing.

  18. soulflow on December 26th, 2009 at 10:47 pm

    uh
    i do
some of the very women you think of as unhealthy probably are
i am size zero but not all women were made to be
the women you are thinking of are depressed and probably too tired to give thought to their health
also, i know many many women who are doing too much for their jobs and families, but not for themselves
black women need to take care of themselves spiritually, mentally and then physically
for the women who are overweight due to stress or depression eating, when they get their emotions and mind on level then their living habits will follow
stop putting down black women…people do it too much
