Is It Normal For Women In Their Early 20’s To Gain Weight?
in high school i went from 110 lbs to 120 lbs and was distressed about that. I’m in my early 20’s now and have gained even more weight (20 lbs!) even though i have maintained the same diet and exercise regimen. I’ve even stepped up my workout and am still not losing weight. I’m wondering if this weight gain is normal for most women around that age.
We women stop growing taller by 20 years old. That means whatever we eat, especially carbohydrates would be converted to fat if not burned enough. Unlike before our 20s, we were still growing and with the same diet and exercise regimen, comparatively, we tend to gain weight in our 20s. Stepping up your exercise regimen is good. It would really help if you cut down on carbohydrates. You would feel the difference. It really works for me.
The diet of a 15 year old, and the diet of a 25 year old is going to be different. Assuming you aren’t pregnant or deathy ill, everyone’s weight fluxuates naturally.
Though I would be more concerned about an *obsessive* need for diet and exercise.
Well have u controlled ur junk fodd intake??
Get ore into healthy fruits diet… gud for health n gud for ur weight too. The french fries n ummm mouth watery chips and the burgers and the creamy luscious cakes n pastries will just add to ur fat… so… get into a balanced diet and controll ur fat n grease intake.. n yes continue ur workouts… not extreme but regular.. trust me it works….and oh yes 1 trick……. when u eat… chew it…….. chew it a lot…. about 34 times before u swallow it… if u chew a lot.. it gets reall small pieces n easier to digest also u get satisfied then swallowing lumps of food. all at once ……And hey skipping is a gud workout just don’t overdo it ever……..in the rush to loose weight
Make sure the foods you are eating are still the same. Some companies change stuff around.
Go get checked out by a doctor to make sure all systems are functioning properly. Modify your diet and take out the fat and high carbs and add extra exercise.
It is normal for your body to change in your early twenties, but it could also indicate a thyroid problem.
