Weight Training And Sexism….?
ok … im of course a woman wanting to join in a weight training class.
so i was wondering if there was a rule against doing that in a high school class. i really want to take this class for my own well-being.
my shoulder muscle keeps hurting unless i do some exercise and i know that i have other options but i didnt want to spend wasted minutes at home trying to do things i don’t actually know how to..
please answer… oh and one more thing … have you ever joined a weight training class in high school before? What was it like?
Thank You
p.s. just to let you know im gay…. so i wont be hitting on any boys in the weight room, if i do go… ^-^
Dont say yr Gay, say am a Lesbian, it sound better and classy if u want to know, and sure go and have the class even if yr not Lesbian so what, its a class for everyone, i have a friend that used to jim with us in JHS, so what, its just we had fun looking at her working and she was doing it better than us….
..
If the class is not listed as being for male students only then it is not. Take the course. You want the information that the class teaches. Did the first woman that went to Harvard law school feel a bit out of place? Probably. Was it worth is? Yes.
Besides I don’t think you are the only woman at your school that wants to take the course. Many probably just push the notion aside since they feel they wouldn’t fit in.
i joined one last semester but i didnt really worked out mayb just like the first days than the ohter days i got distracted lol cause of all the guys lifting weights and their muscles and all that so me and my friends just chilled sumtimes pretend that we were lifitng but i dont think theres a rule against it my friends and i joined it so no i dont think so…you should join
I took weight training when I was in high school so I don’ think that they will stop you from taking it. & I’m a lesbian to so don’t worry about that @ all ’cause I was “playing” w/ one of the girls in class
