Allot of women i know who are trying to lose weight very rarely exercise and tend to try out slimming tablets and diets. Why do more men exercise to lose weight than women? Are women just lazy? I am a woman and i exercise and just adopt a healthy eating plan for life, rather than for a month so i can get into a new swimsuit? I find these womens’ approaches to weight loss and health disgusting.

Obviously, I will never be able to transplant these women’s legs onto my body, but this is the look that I am going for and I recognize different types of training could affect that.
Any fitness trainers able to tell me which activities to stick to in pursuit of these legs..http://img482.imageshack.us/img482/1516/…
In the second picture here, I’d have to say my legs are more like those of the woman on the left…I’m more in favor of those on the right…http://img47.imageshack.us/img47/9827/le…

It would be gret if you could give explanations for the advantages. And if you’d also like to fill us in on the ways to do it, when to do it, differences/variances across cultures, etc, please feel free to share but first what are the advantages of these Kegel exercises?
And if you think there are drawbacks for women (as they say it is not completely healthy for men), please do give us a heads up and explain.
Cheers.

I need some ideas for strength training (with machines, free weights or whatever) for women and some more resources on women’s exercise in general. Anyone know any good web sites about this? Books and magazines would be good too.

i’m at the 40 thing, I’m not a big big woman, but my arms are getting flappy. I need a way to tone them up. I have always been bigger on top than bottom, not a big out of porpotion, but enuff. So I’m not looking to add any bulk, just tone. Also are there any exercises sthat will incresre the size of your bottom? Cause I’m a Black woman with a tutty booty.

Even before I was pregnant I loved eating healthy and working out. I was about 140 lbs. I am 3 months pregnant with twins now and I really do not want to gain TOO much weight. (These cravings for burgers are not helping =P). I don’t want to do anything too rigorous and overexert myself or my babies.
How often should pregnant women work out? If you are pregnant now, what exercises are most comfortable to you?
